How to correctly use wet diamond polishing pads and dry diamond polishing pads?
Stone care professionals should know that there are two commonly used grinding disks when grinding a whole stone.
One is a hard retread, the other is a soft grinding.
But why do we design these two kinds of millstones?
Do you know the difference between them?
Do you know how to use these two types of millstones correctly?
Many people might say this is not difficult.
Refurbished dural for early cutting and smoothing.
Soft polishing pads are cheaper and can reduce abrasive costs. This is the understanding and opinion of most colleagues. They believe that the two grinding membranes have the same effect. They are used for grinding stones, but differ in thickness. This is a misunderstanding of our understanding.
Today, We will tell you the difference between refurbished pieces and soft grinding pieces, as well as their proper use.
Many people believe that refurbished parts and soft abrasive parts are the same.
The difference is only in thickness.
This is one of the most common problems.
1. They are not only different in thickness, but also in shape.
The refurbished pieces you see in various shapes are not suitable for a pretty look.
They all have a better mechanical basis for grinding and grinding. Soft films pay attention to good applicability, and pay more attention to the physical polishing effect of stone in the later period. There are also differences in the material formulation between the refurbished sheet and the soft refined sheet.
2. After completing the 50-grit refurbished parts, directly replace the 150-grit soft polishing grinding disc. Not many people have this problem. Do you do the same?
After the project is completed, do you find that the scratches on the floor have not been eliminated, especially on stones with high Shore hardness, such as granite floors.
Why this happens is because the grinding capabilities of refurbished and soft sanding discs are different, as are their material formulas.
So you may have a 150 grit soft abrasive disc that has been polished many times but not cleaned the scratches.
3. Choose two brands of abrasive film in the first stage, such as 50 grit for grinding and 150 grit for another grinding blade. This will also cause scratches on the grinding film that cannot be eliminated. Why is this happening?
You may not know that the number of meshes of the grinding disc is determined according to the thickness of the diamond powder, and the number of fine powder is not a certain amount. It is a range, such as 40 mesh-60 mesh fine powder. The grinding discs produced are all set to 50 mesh grinding discs, and the grinding discs made of 120-170 mesh micro powder are set to 150 mesh. Each company has different habits of selecting micro powder, some are thicker and some are thinner. Choosing between two brands may cause the grinding blade's grid to jump too much and not eliminate scratches on the grinding plate.
