How to maintain diamond polishing pads?

1. The ground becomes monotonous

The grinding process is divided into two situations: for water stains on the original stone surface joints, we use far-infrared lamps to heat and dry them. The moisture on the flat surface can also be dried naturally. The water stains have been completely removed, which is economical and reasonable, and the customer is very satisfied.

2. Add stone seams

The main preventive measure is to use caulking method to deal with water seepage in stone joints. The caulking material should have good adhesion, no powder, waterproof, and can be ground and polished. We used German super marble crack patching agent and filled the gaps according to the technology. The adding surface was leveled with the plane of the stone and the gap was filled. It should be evenly distributed to avoid loss. And through monotonous curing for more than two hours.

3. Leveling, grinding and polishing

Since the stone surface has been waterproofed before, causing discoloration of the stone, we did not directly use the leveling and grinding method. Instead, we first used  steel wool and special equipment to grind and rub away the discoloration layer on the surface of the stone. , revealing the original background color of large white spots.

4. Rust yellow treatment

According to the overall plan of the grinding disc, first polish the areas with serious rust spots with steel wool to remove the floating rust on the surface, and then use a special marble rust remover to remove the rust.
