Measuring tools, cutting tools and abrasive tools are commonly used materials in production and belong to consumables.
Therefore, as a construction unit, it will certainly be regularly purchased or stored for backup.
There are many kinds of tools, different models, different specifications, in the process of purchase or transportation, we must pay special attention to.
Today, we will sort out the necessary precautions for the transportation and storage of abrasive tools.
1. long distance transportation should be properly packed with wooden boxes or wicker baskets, and soft substances such as straw or sawdust will separate the abrasive tools. When handling to prevent collision and impact, stacking to be stable.
2. ceramic abrasives should not be placed in wet or frozen places; Rubber abrasive should not be in contact with oil; Resin abrasive can not be in contact with alkali, otherwise it will reduce the strength of the abrasive and its grinding ability.
3. Abrasive tools should be stored in a dustproof, moisture-proof, dry and ventilated warehouse, the relative humidity is controlled at 65%-70%, the room temperature should not be lower than 5 ° C, and can not be stored with oil, salt, acid, alkali and harmful gases.
4. Abrasive tools should be placed separately according to specifications, and the storage areas should be marked to avoid confusion and errors.
5. The placement position and setting method should depend on the shape and size of the grinding tool.
Larger diameter or thickness of the grinding wheel should be placed upright or slightly inclined, thinner and smaller grinding wheels should be placed flat, but the height should not exceed 500~600mm.
The stacking height of the rubber or resin sheet grinding wheel should be less than 200mm, and a flat iron plate should be placed above and below it to prevent the deformation or rupture of the grinding wheel.
Small diameter grinding wheel (less than 50mm) can be strung up with a rope for safekeeping. Shaped grinding wheels such as bowls, cups and saucers should be stacked with their bottom facing down, but the height should not be too high.
6. Stacking mat: the thickness of thicker and diameter of 350mm or more grinding wheels can be placed upright on the shelf, not overlapping palletizing;
For small or thin grinding wheels, place them flat on the flat pad, and the stack height shall not exceed 1m (for resin and rubber combined grinding wheels, the stack height shall not exceed 0.5m).
The grinding wheel with a diameter of less than 25mm can be strung up or packed in a paper box for storage;
For fine grained, soft, thin, sharp edge grinding wheels should be placed on the shelf in each layer of cardboard.
7. Rubber and resin have the phenomenon of "aging", so the abrasive storage period of these two types of binders generally cannot exceed one year.
Abrasive tools that exceed the storage period must be re-inspected before use. The specific storage period needs to refer to the product manual.
8. After the reform of the grinding wheel, it must be re-tested before use.
9. Maintenance: adhere to the tour inspection, emery cloth, sandpaper found damp, should be opened one by one to dry, not in the sun exposure and baking.
10. Loading and unloading: pay attention to the instructions and signs on the packaging, it is strictly prohibited to knock, throw, roll packaging.
